More than a million people have already visited Melco Crown Entertainment's City of Dreams complex in Macau, the company is claiming.

The operator welcomed its one-millionth guest on June 27, having only opened its doors to the public on June 1. The leisure and entertainment destination has welcomed an average of 37,000 visitors each day.

“It is a real achievement to have received our one-millionth guest in just 27 days since our opening,” said Greg Hawkins, president of City of Dreams. “We are delighted with the customer interest generated so far by City of Dreams. Visitors are clearly eager to experience for themselves the wide range of entertainment experiences we have to offer at this amazing urban destination.”
