Industry veteran Kaufman dies
Steve Kaufman, one of the best-known personalities in the US coin machine industry, died at his Chicago home on Thursday, January 10. He was 60.
He had fought a long battle against cancer. The funeral was yesterday, January 14, in Chicago.
Kaufman worked for a number of leading American machine manufacturers over the years, including Konami America, Electronic Arts, Premier Pinball and Stern.
More recently he was involved in licensing product for Namco and Gaelco.
