US family entertainment centre and restaurant chain Chuck E Cheese has begun awarding tickets and prizes to online players of a game called Ticket Blaster, according to national trade press.
As tickets zoom around the computer screen, players have 30 seconds to ‘grab’ as many tickets as possible with their mouse. As a limited-time bonus, once the tickets are tallied, players can print a reward certificate redeemable for up to 30 tickets to use during their next visit to their local Chuck E Cheese.
The game is free to play and serves as an online extension of the existing in-store Ticket Blaster birthday experience. In stores, Ticket Blaster is offered exclusively to birthday children at reserved parties.
Customers can also combine their free ticket vouchers from the online Ticket Blaster with other special discounts and coupons.
