The EAG Expo (January 26-28, 2010) is now 95 per cent full with 6,500sq.m of space sold to over 100 companies representing 180 suppliers. EAG is now the largest amusement machine show held in the UK for the last five years.

The members of the EAG Expo Advisory Board were told at its meeting at BACTA House in London this morning that the floor plan has very few places left and the organisers are still negotiating with another 10 companies.

It was also reported that since the IAAPA show in Las Vegas last month there had been an influx of smaller companies showing products such as plush, candy floss, balloons and gifts suitable for redemption games.

Pre-registration is so far at 1,500, of which 400 are from outside of the UK. The leading countries are Belgium, Germany, Ireland,
Italy, the Netherlands and Spain, but from outside Europe there are pre-registrations from the US, Australia, Singapore, Pakistan, Korea, South Africa and the UAE. It is anticipated that the attendance at the show will be between 5,000 and 7,000.
