Sega Republic Dubai opens its doors
Sega Republic at the Dubai Mall is now officially open and using Embed solutions for its operation - managing all games, redemption and attractions within the 7,500sq.m indoor park.
Commenting on the installation, Luke Mckimmie, general manager of Embed Middle East, said: "This is a premium site with very detailed theming and design. It was critical for all vendors to work closely together to achieve the Sega Republic vision. This was achieved by staying close to this project throughout its development and I believe having our office in Dubai gave Embed the capacity to offer the hands-on approach these types of projects demand."
The Embed ColorGlo card swipers have been used throughout the park, making the games stand out and instantly recognisable to customers.
Joe Gibbons, general manager of Sega Republic, added: "Opening is always difficult and we certainly had our share of issues from many different sources at Sega Republic, but we always look at the bottom line and the Embed system was ready and working the day we opened the doors."
