LAI Games continues to fight to protect the copyright and intellectual property rights of its prize vending game Stacker following a successful raid on the factory of Macrown Electronic Development under Chinese copyright law.

An entire production line of games that infringe on Stacker’s copyright was confiscated. Commenting on the raid, Alan Freimuth, chief executive officer of LAI Games, said: "At this stage we know that the offending games have been sold into the market as Pile Up, Aces High, Go Up and Chase the Ace; we suspect they have also been sold under other names but won’t know further details until the Copyright Bureau has sifted through all documents.

"We see this raid as just one of the steps to defend our copyrights and we’ll continue to pursue companies that manufacture, import, distribute or operate copies of our games."
