Industry supports InterGame Expo

London's alternative show, the InterGame Expo, is already one-third full, said InterGame managing director Christine Butterworth this week.
"The event was only announced a week ago and there has been a steady stream of supporting calls and emails, with hardly any dissenters from the theory of a competitively priced amusement industry event."
She continued: "We are planning to run a very relaxed show; an intimate and very sociable presentation of new products, but with a businesslike edge to it.
"There will be a number of social aspects, including a 'happy hour' at the end of each of the first two days on several of the stands."
The small exhibition will be held at the Ibis Hotel, Lillie Road, about 500 yards from Earls Court, on January 27-29, 2009. It will house between 30 and 40 exhibitors.
Most of the bigger, island-type positions have now been taken and interest is very high.
