CryptoLogic and Loto-Québec sign licensing deal
CryptoLogic has signed a multi-year licensing agreement to provide a portfolio of its games to the Societe du jeu virtuel du Quebec, the online gaming division of the provincial state lottery corporation Loto-Quebec, known as Espacejeux.
Under the terms of the agreement, CryptoLogic has granted Espacejeux the licensing rights to a minimum of 14 of its top performing games. The games will be rolled out over the next year with the first game already live on the website. The games will be distributed through the OpenBet fixed-odds games platform.
Ian Price, group head of business development at CryptoLogic, said: "Working with governmental organisations such as Loto-Quebec underpins our reputation for delivering innovative but also responsible gaming solutions."
Francois Poulin, general manager for Espacejeux, added: "We are committed to delivering on our mission to manage legal and responsible online gaming and working with CryptoLogic will enable us to provide a more diverse array of games for Quebecers, and enhance their online experience."
