Acting CEO Björn Krantz drew back the curtain on the company's stand to reveal its latest game release based on the American cult hit crime film Scarface. Adapted from Brian De Palma's 1983 hit film, Scarface players follow the story of Tony Montana's rise and fall in gangland Miami. The game itself is a five-reel, 20-line slot, which features a bonus game based on the "Say hello to my little friend!" shootout sequence from the film.

Speaking to iNTERGAMINGi, Fredrik Elmqvist, acting CEO of Net Entertainment Malta, said: "It's an impressive title but with that comes sensitivity." He added: "There is a lot to live up to and it is easy to fail." However, Elmqvist is confident that the company has captured the essence of the film, including the famous killing scene at the end, without dramatising too much.

It is the second time Net Entertainment has created a game based on a major classic Universal movie title, following Frankenstein, which launched in May 2011. "After the success of Frankenstein we had to raise the bar and we believed this title could do it. You can't compete with Scarface," Elmqvist told iNTERGAMINGi.
