Delaware, which in 2013 became the first US state to regulate real-money online gaming, recorded its best annual i-gaming revenues to date in 2016.

Delaware sets new high in 2016

The net revenue of $3m collected in 2016 was up 62 per cent on the 2015 figure.

Of the three Delaware racetracks that host online gaming - Dover Downs, Delaware Park and Harrington Raceway – it was Delaware Park that contributed the lion’s share of revenue, collecting $1.4m in the year.

December was a particularly strong month, with net revenues topping $300,000 – up 29 per cent year on year.
