Betfair has become an official global partner of Spanish football giant FC Barcelona for the next three seasons.

The deal gives Betfair access to Barcelona players to create promotional material and develop marketing campaigns, as well as image association rights and branding with the Camp Nou stadium.

Manel Arroyo, FC Barcelona’s vice-president of marketing and communication, said: “FC Barcelona is delighted to sign a long-term collaboration agreement with Betfair, a prominent leading company in the field of sports betting.

“We hope our members and all football lovers will enjoy this new global partnership, as well as exclusive promotions and unique sporting experiences.”

Betfair marketing and brand director Paul Gambrill added: “Barcelona is consistently competitive at the top level and will help us achieve our ambition of growing the Betfair brand internationally.
