The US state of New Jersey has posted its highest ever online gaming revenues in April, climbing to $16.98m - an increase of 33.8 per cent compared with the same period in 2015.

For the year to date, to the end of April real-money i-gaming in the state generated a cumulative win of $61.87m – up 29.3 per cent compared with the same point in 2015.

Traditional market leaders Borgata and Golden Nugget reported online gaming win of $3.9m and $3.3m respectively in April, both barely changed from a year before, while Caesars Interactive, Resorts and Tropicana all made significant gains.

Resorts, boosted by the launch of PokerStars NJ in late March, posted the second highest win for April, at $3.48m.
