Net revenue for Gala Coral’s online business was up 36 per cent for the year to September 26, 2015, with the operator claiming a market share of seven per cent.

Profit (EBITDA) for the online business was £56.2m, up 14 per cent year on year. After adjustments for the impact of the UK point-of-consumption tax and spike in income associated with the FIFA World Cup in 2014, EBITDA was 99 per cent up in the period. 

There were 972,000 first-time depositors acquired in the year, at an average cost-per-acquisition of £52.

More than 70 per cent of Coral sports and gaming stakes is now placed via mobile devices, with Galabingo.com and Eurobet.it taking 50 per cent and 37 per cent of stakes through the mobile channel, respectively.

Coral.co.uk recorded net revenue of £119m, 62 per cent (£45.7m) ahead of last year with sports net revenue up 68 per cent to £41.9m. Gaming net revenue was £77.1m, up 60 per cent.

Net revenue at Galabingo.com was £78m, rising 26 per cent compared to the previous year, while for Galacasino.com net revenue was £13.1m, up two per cent.

Eurobet.it net revenue was £36.8m, up seven per cent - or 21 per cent if discounting the 2014 World Cup effect and currency fluctuations.
