Real-money online gaming win in the US state of New Jersey grew by 15.8 per cent in August, compared with the same period in 2014, rising to $12.2m.

The monthly gains reflect the year-to-date win, with i-gaming up 15.6 per cent year on year to the end of August.

All properties offering real-money online gaming in the Garden State saw year-on-year gains in August. Golden Nugget led the way with a whopping 185.7 per cent year on year rise, due largely to the November 2014 switch of Betfair’s New Jersey operations to Golden Nugget from Trump Plaza.

Tropicana also recorded significant i-gaming gains, up 23.2 per cent to $2.8m in August, compared with $2.3m for the same period in 2014.

Borgata remains the biggest player in New Jersey i-gaming with an August internet gaming win of $3.7m, up 5.7 per cent year on year.
