Gala Coral’s online business has reported earnings (EBITDA) of £17.1m, up 28 per cent year on year, for the 12 weeks to July 4.

For the year to date (to Q3, FY14), EBITDA is £11.5m – up 202 per cent – after the impact of point-of-consumption tax (-£6.2m) and the World Cup (-£1.6m), is discounted.

Coral.co.uk net revenue was 69 per cent ahead of last year with acquisition rates up 19 per cent, year on year.

Coral online sports net revenue was up 102 per cent with spend-per-head 54 per cent up. In-play betting now represents 53 per cent of sports stakes (excluding horseracing), while mobile now accounts for 68 per cent of all Coral.co.uk sports stakes.

Gaming net revenue was up 52 per cent, with mobile representing 65 per cent of gaming stakes.

Elsewhere, net revenue was up 23 per cent for galabingo.com whiel galacasino.com saw a 25 per cent year-on-year fall in revenue.

Eurobet.it sports stakes were 60 per cent ahead, but gross win margin fell 3.9 per cent, year on year.
