Roxy Palace, the online gaming content developer, has been acquired by online gaming operator 32Red for £8.4m, of which £2m was in cash and the remainder in new shares.

The purchase includes the customer database, intellectual property rights and other assets. The Roxy purchase was undertaken via the acquisition of the issued share capital of Eucalyptus Investment; a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hyperlink Media and Applied Logics.

Roxy was founded in 2002 and has more than 500 online casino games in its inventory. It reported net gaming revenue of £10.1m and gross profit of £3.4m for the year ended December 2014.
