Optimal Payments has been selected by gamigo, a publisher and distributor of free-to-play multiplayer online games, to provide its Neteller service as an alternative payment method for gamigo players.
The deal offers gamers using a Neteller account a secure means of depositing funds for in-game purchases on a range of free-to-play multiplayer online games.
Gamers can make purchases to help increase their abilities, extend the game play or collect special items.
Lorenzo Pellegrino, executive vice president at Optimal Payments, said: “Our Neteller service allows gamigo to offer consumers a secure and trusted alternative payment method, while supporting its continuous growth in the market though our marketing social media channels and co-branded promotions.”
Gamigo’s Theodor Niehues added: “The Neteller service will help us grow our business globally and further penetrate into emerging markets.”
