In a trading update for the period from June to November 16, Paddy Power reported an 18 per cent rise in online sports bets compared with the same period in 2013.
Total group net revenues increased by 38 per cent, with the operator now anticipating “mid-to-high teens” percentage growth in earnings per share for the full year.
In the UK and Ireland, the online sportsbook business saw net revenues jump by 59 per cent while across the group, Paddy Power saw active accounts increase by 33 per cent.
