The game is free to download and uses a cruise ship theme, which is complemented by a 3D gameplay experience.

“We are thrilled to partner with USA Today in bringing USA Today Bingo Cruise to one of the largest and most influential media organisations in the US,” said John Cahill, CEO of OpenWager.

“Our company is committed to helping USA Today delight its readers with this exciting new game while opening a new and valuable line of mobile-based digital revenue.”

USA Today Bingo Cruise is a classic bingo game with a interesting storyline, where players find themselves on an ocean liner visiting breathtaking ports of call around the globe.

As players advance from one level to the next, they unlock new exotic destinations and increasingly valuable rewards. At the end of each round, bingo enthusiasts have a chance to spin a Fortune Wheel and receive a random bonus.

OpenWager has enhanced the game with a variety of social features, including friends’ lists, private messaging, power-ups, achievement tracking and more – all synced with player’s social network accounts.

Derek Murphy, general manager and executive vice president of USA Today, said: “USA Today is excited to elevate its games presence to the next level by introducing the USA Today Bingo Cruise app.

“OpenWager helped us create a best-in-class game app that will both delight our share the game with their friends.”
