Betfair has adopted Jumio’s Netverify customer verification solution.

The system will allow Betfair’s customers to pass know-your-customer checks easily and quickly, without needing to take a picture of their ID and send it to the verifications team.

Phillip Rivers, head of registrations, payments and fraud at Betfair, said: “By adding Jumio’s Netverify into the customer verification process, we are making life quicker and easier for our customers, minimising fall-out from lengthy verification processes and removing costly man hours where we have to receive and review documents manually.”
