All commissions generated on Matchbook’s Betting Exchange Community on April 1 are to be donated to the global sport for development charity, Right To Play.
CEO Mark Brosnan said: “As an exchange community we’re delighted funds can be raised by our users to support Right To Play in creating healthier and happier communities for young people facing poverty, disease, violence and discrimination around the world.
“We have a community of thousands of sports fans and it is important for us to support a charity that uses sport and play to change the lives of so many who are in real need.”
Brosnan added: “Competition is at the heart of our exchange community and in addition to donating funds to Right To Play directly, we will be allocating additional money to cricket superstar and Right To Play athlete ambassador Darren Gough (pictured) for him to use on our betting exchange.
“All money he wins from this will be donated to Right To Play on top of Matchbook’s donation from April 1.”
