Sound Leisure was founded in 1978 and entered the leisure industry in 1980 when it manufactured its first jukebox product, displaying it at Alexandra Palace in London.
For over 25 years Sound Leisure has maintained its core principle, to manufacture industry leading coin and non coin play entertainment systems. As a private family owned and run company, it has gathered together some of the finest craftsmen and technical minds to be found anywhere in the leisure industry.
All jukebox computer software and hardware is developed in-house. The combination of resources available across our sites affords us the ability to take products from concept to manufacture and final testing without the need for external contracting, enabling us to respond quickly to changes in demand with in the market place.
Sound Leisure exports products globally and offers the finest after sales technical support via telephone and email services. Additionally, regular training sessions hosted at our Leeds base allow operators, engineers and owners hands on access to our technical experts and the engineers and designers at the heart of our organisation.
Over the years the company has strived to be at the forefront of new technologies demonstrating the world first digital audio jukebox in August 1988 and satellite delivery digital video jukeboxes in 1998.
The company now employs over 150 skilled engineers, software, hardware technicians, cabinet woodworkers, spray shop and metal workers with most operations being carried out entirely in-house at their 80,000sq.ft factory in Leeds.
The company has won many accolades for innovation and quality including best jukebox in Britain by UK's jukebox operators.
