FutureLogic’s Ticket2Go solution for AWPs not only produces an increase in the cashbox but it also offers other significant benefits to operators and retailers, claimed sales and marketing manager Anette Jauch.

The company presently has more than 10 installations of Ticket2Go with two operators and so far the solution has been performing very well, Jauch said.

“From a revenue point of view, the operators have seen a double-digit increase in the cashbox but there are also secondary benefits,” she told InterGame. “One of the landlords in a pub where Ticket2Go is installed had a customer who won £150 and then put their ticket behind the bar, saying ‘that’s my beer money for the weekend.’ Another won an £8 ticket and asked for two beers and told the barman to keep the rest. So they’re not taking the money out of the pub but actually using tickets to pay for their drinks.”

The company has also found that when players only have only a few pounds in winnings, they tend to continue playing rather than redeeming their tickets.

Working with Gauselmann Group subsidiary, GeWeTe, FutureLogic has developed a redemption terminal enabling players to redeem their Ticket2Go tickets. This, said Jauch, is an ideal solution for service stations operating several machines, for example, as it allows them to function self-sufficiently and without the need for staff to be on hand to process transactions.
