Roy Howell has left his position as chairman of UK gaming manufacturer FatSpanner with immediate effect.

Clive Barrett, CEO of FatSpanner, said: “We are very grateful to Roy for the help he has given FatSpanner over the last couple of years, which has helped us to consolidate our position within the coin-op sector and reach out into new markets. It has been a pleasure for me personally to work with him again and I wish him success in all his future endeavours.”

Howell, who is also involved in family businesses, has not ruled out the possibility of rejoining the coin-op sector in future, should the right opportunity turn up.
