No JAMMA in 2012
We understand that there will be no JAMMA show in 2012 in Tokyo.
The trade manufacturers' association in Japan usually runs its show in September, while the operators' association, the AOU, runs a spring event in February.
The plan now is for JAMMA 2012 to be moved to join AOU in February, 2013, probably at the familiar Makuhari Messe exhibition centre in Tokyo. They will join up with two other organisations, the Nippon SC Association, which is a separate trade association for shopping centres, where many arcades are located, and the JAPEA, the Japan Park Entertainment Association.
