Sega set for EAG International
Sega Amusements Europe has confirmed that its preparations for EAG International Expo are well under way, with a planned showing of more than 60 products.
With a reputation for developing its own games, Sega Amusements expanded into distribution and support of a range of products from other third party manufacturers in recent years. Its portfolio now includes products from Triotech, Pan Amusements and ICE, to name but a few.
The company's Justin Burke explained the growth strategy, saying: "We expanded into distribution three years ago and things have progressed rapidly to the point where we have been awarded many distributorships for leading global brands. As a company, we are involved with around 50 shows but EAG International Expo is really a breath of fresh air. We have found the location to be convenient, with good hotels and restaurants within walking distance. The show has been great for catching up with customers and meeting genuine new buyers.
"We'll be showing new cranes and video redemption products and we're very excited about Key Master, a prize vendor which tests players' skills to the limit as they select prizes by manoeuvring a key into exactly the right spot. Key Master is very strong in the US and has already generated a great deal of interest here.
"As well as our own games, we'll be showing some really innovative products from the top-class manufacturers we represent. We're expecting a great deal of interest in our new and growing merchandise range, building on the success of Victoria Cupcakes and Hello Kitty in 2011.
"As a company we're totally focused on support, so our spares and customer service team will also be out in force to meet customers and deal with inquiries."
EAG International Expo, which takes place from January 24-26, is expected to attract almost 6,000 visitors from the amusement, leisure, coin-op, parks and attractions industries and online registration is now open.
