Gerry Bowyer dies
As we were going to press with today's newsletter InterGame learnt that industry character Gerry Bowyer has died at his home today aged 83.
Bowyer was well-known in the UK and international industries and was formerly with Streets Automatics and other companies before working part time for Electrocoin, with whom he retained a relationship until ill-health prevented further activities with the company.
Gerry was instrumental in recent years in the organisation of Electrocoin’s trade show displays and in particular with the annual open day.
Further details of the funeral arrangements will be released early next week.
