Intermatic has become well-known in the UK and Europe for its candy floss vending machine, exhibiting earlier in the year at IGX in London.

Riding on its ongoing success in these markets, the company has taken the product across the Atlantic to the US and presented it for the first time at the ASI show.

Speaking to InterGame, Intermatic’s US representative Brian Duke, new business development, Cotton Candy Vending, said: “We have had a spectacular show. I have been in this business for 30 years and never have I seen excitement about a product like this before.

When asked why he feels there is such interest, Duke told InterGame: “It is something new, innovative and has the ability to expand a business.”

It would seem the product also has the ability to cross over industries with Duke receiving plenty of interest from visitors and exhibitors at the Pizza Expo, which was held at the same time at the Convention Center.
