The company, which operates 900 betting outlets in Bulgaria, received the award for its Sports Talents CSR programme, in the small and medium businesses category at the March 14 event.

The programme is aimed at financially supporting athletes up to 25 years old, including Paralympians and those with impaired hearing and/or vision.

A joint venture between Eurofootball and the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation, Sports Talents has been running for six years.

The award was accepted by Ekaterina Tonova, PR manager for Eurofootball, and one of the 2016 sports talents, judo player Ivaylo Ivanov, who finished seventh at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro last year.

“I want to thank the Eurofootball team for their support of the young Bulgarian athletes, not only for financially supporting us, but also for caring about us and actively helping us to conquer our dreams," said Ivanov.
