Bowling specialist QubicaAMF has undertaken a total modernisation of Ten Pin Alley, a traditional US bowling centre in Wilmington, North Carolina, US.

QubicaAMF

The location was taken over two years ago by Jim Grago and his wife Margaret, who bought it and restyled the location as a family entertainment complex.

Ten Pin Alley has now become an up-market 24-lane bowling complex with 29 pool tables, two bars and a full-service restaurant. The location occupies a 37,000sq.ft section of a former shopping mall.

The Gragos felt that with bowling in decline in their area, what was needed was a full modernization programme and they chose QubicaAMF for their equipment. It now features SPKL Select bowling lanes with new XLi EDGE pinspotters, Harmony ball returns and BES X, QubicaAMF’s bowling entertainment system.

The closure of another bowling centre nearby meant that the Gragos’ location picked up all of that location’s league business and the new equipment in Ten Pin Alley has brought in fresh players seeking family entertainment.
