Essex Leisure, a supplier of coin-operated entertainment equipment, has reported substantial initial and ongoing orders for Electrocoin’s Monte Carlo Elektra digital Cat C platform.

Digital Cat C success for Electrocoin

Commenting on the deal, Electrocoin’s business development director, Kevin Weir said: “We are delighted to receive this endorsement for Monte Carlo from Essex Leisure. We have received excellent support from them throughout the development of the games and we have proven the worth of the concept over an extended period, across a wide range of test sites. We showed the new content and cabinet at ICE and the response from customers across all sectors of the industry was superb.”

He said the company went into the test knowing that Essex Leisure was looking at a number of products in the digital sector and “therefore to receive this order when being compared to others is even more pleasing.”

Essex Leisure operations director, Greg Wood, said: “Working with the team at Electrocoin has been a pleasure and I am glad we have been able to get to a position where we can place a significant order of the new product. For us, it is key to have a mix of digital products and the results that we have seen from Monte Carlo have been excellent. We will continue to work with the team at Electrocoin so we can keep moving forward the offering to the players.”

Production of the new Monte Carlo Elektra cabinet is underway with the initial production scheduled for April delivery.
