Intercard, a cash management solutions company for the amusement and casino industries, recently completed an installation at Townline Luxury Lanes bowling centre in Boston, US.
The installation included the company’s iReader II Eclipse readers, self-serve tellers and a redemption inventory system.
Working closely with Patriot Vending and Amusements, a games distributor based in New England, Intercard’s system installation was part of a number of continual upgrades at Townline, a family-owned business that started in 1960.
Manager of Townline Luxury Lanes, Anthony DeCotis, said: “Since we installed the Intercard system, the revenue in our game room is up 30 per cent over the same period last year, plus I think we reduced the physical work by 50 per cent.” Amber Collier, Intercard sales manager and Brandan Ponder, Intercard technical manager made the switchover from the site’s old tokens-and-tickets system “painless and easy,” DeCotis added.
Collier said: “It was a pleasure working with the entire team at Patriot Vending and Townline Luxury Lanes. As someone who has been an operator, it’s always exciting for me to be able to help customers increase their revenues with a new system.”
