Steve Wooley, until recently a sales executive at Embed, the Helix Group’s cashless systems specialist, has joined VLocker, the Australian supplier of lockers to theme and water parks and other locations.
Wooley has been appointed director of operations for VLocker North America, a new subsidiary of the group. He left Embed on April 14 for the new post, which was to open up a new North American division for the company.
He told InterGame: “It was not easy for me to leave as I loved Embed, but it was an offer which was impossible to turn down. We will be making a big push in the US to grow the brand there in the next year.”
An immediate success for the new US company was the contract to supply guest storage lockers to Rebounderz, part of the WM Family Fun company. Rebounderz is an indoor trampoline arena with extreme fun centre based in a 54,000sq.ft facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
