Peter Gustafson, general manager of Sega Amusements in the US, is to take over as head of the American Amusement Machine Association, which represents the machine suppliers and distributors.

Peter Gustafson

He was appointed the association’s executive vice-president last week, taking over from John Schulz, who is retiring at the end of May. Gustafson has spent 36 years in the industry and has throughout that time been active within the AAMA. He was president for two years from 2013.

He now leaves Sega Amusements US to take up the full-time role at AAMA. His Sega CEO Paul Williams commented: “He will be missed by Sega, but in his new role he will benefit the entire industry.”
