Intercard has appointed Bob Zoellner to the position of manager of technical services.

This is a new position at the cash management solutions specialist, created as a result of the company’s domestic and international growth.

In this role, Zoellner will oversee Intercard’s customer support services, installations, training, system upgrades and special project implementation worldwide. He will report to company president and CEO Scott Sherrod.

Before joining the company, Zoellner was general manager for Telescan, a producer of hardware and software for the tele-messaging industry.

“Though Intercard has a unique specialisation in the amusement and casino industries, we are fundamentally a technology company,” Sherrod said. “As such, Bob’s broad and deep technology background will bolster our capabilities and make an immediate positive contribution to our clients’ businesses.”
