TouchTunes has named Microsoft’s Ross Honey as its new president and chief operating officer.

Based in New York, Honey will assume responsibility for sales, marketing, engineering, product management, music, the company’s Attract Media advertising group and other core operating functions. He will report directly to chairman and CEO Charles Goldstuck.

Honey joins TouchTunes from Microsoft where he has spent the last 10 years in an array of leadership roles in content, product management and advertising, including serving as general manager of Xbox advertising and entertainment.

“Ross has an extensive background in digital media and entertainment that is a perfect fit for TouchTunes,” said Goldstuck. “His vast experience will help us to continue executing on our strategy of innovation and market expansion, supporting our position as a market leader and an engine for industry growth.”
