The 2015 IAAPA Attractions Expo brought together 32,900 industry professionals at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, last week.

According to the trade association behind the event, there were representatives from 120 countries at the four-day show, which was the largest event since IAAPA began producing three shows around the world. It was the second largest in the association’s history.

The success of this year’s event demonstrated the strength of the industry, said IAAPA president and CEO Paul Noland.

“This was an incredible week,” he said. “Walking the trade show floor it was evident that the global attractions industry is booming in every corner of the world.”

The expo is considered to be the largest conference and trade show for the $39.5bn global attractions industry and is estimated to have contributed $51.3m to the Orlando economy.

The 2016 IAAPA Attractions Expo will take place at the same venue on November 14-18 and more than 200 companies have already reserved space for the trade show floor.
