Family entertainment centre chain Main Event Entertainment is to open its first location in the US state of Florida.
Boasting a new prototype design, Main Event Orlando at Pointe Orlando on International Drive, will open its doors towards the end of 2016.
The 45,000sq.ft centre will feature 20 “ice-white” bowling lanes accented by multi-coloured LED lighting, eight private lanes and a bar.
It will also boast a multi-level laser tag arena and a gravity ropes course suspended over a games arcade with more than 100 interactive and virtual games.
“The Orlando area has been on Main Event’s radar for quite some time and is an important part of our plans as we expand our Fun destination footprint into Florida,” said president and CEO Charlie Keegan. “Now that we have found the right site, we’re ready to showcase our distinct Eat.Bowl.Play experience in one of the nation’s top entertainment destinations.”
