John Keys has been appointed strategic accounts manager for Embed and Justin Randall (pictured) is the new game testing coordinator for LAI Games.

Keys, with an extensive background in sales and marketing, will be working with clients that require close partnerships because of their number of locations, growth rate or unique ongoing business requirements.

He will provide consultation, business analysis and business development relationships and will also be developing pro-active assessment and review programmes for those customers.

“John is one of those individuals who is able to come on board and have an immediate impact,” said Ted Parsons, general manager for Helix Leisure North America.

“We have worked with him extensively in the past with respect to our interface with Micros and John has an excellent capacity to work with multiple parties to find solutions for his clients.”

Randall has worked on the operating side of the business for the past 13 years with Chuck E Cheese’s, beginning his career as an assistant technician and later holding various management positions including general manager of four Chuck E Cheese’s locations in Texas and Oklahoma.

He will be in charge of running LAI’s test game programme, which provides valuable information for research and development and optimising game performance.

“Our new game testing programme is built around three pillars: partnerships with key industry operators, strong performance analysis and real time feedback to our R&D team, to ensure that our games provide the best entertainment experience in the industry,” said Tomas Cortijo, director of business development and channel marketing for Helix Leisure. “Justin will be vital to this improvement.”
