“It is with sadness that we say goodbye to John but we part on extremely good terms and we are very grateful for his tremendous contribution over the past years of business development, that have taken our company to another level,” said John McKenzie, managing director of Bandai Namco Amusement Europe.

“I feel privileged to have been part of Bandai Namco with all that entails during this time,” said Brennan.

“The team, led by John McKenzie, has risen to numerous challenges during this period, establishing Bandai Namco and its partner companies as the pre-eminent suppliers of games throughout the region,” he added.

“We have diversified from solely machine supply to incorporate a variety of business models that have invigorated previously staid markets. It has certainly been exciting but now it is time for me to take stock, reflect and consider alternatives available.”
