Bowling specialist Switch has unveiled a series of product advancements.

Switch

Improved scoring features were the first to be announced. The features, including fingerprint recognition, credit card payment support and an image search system via Google, allow for safety, convenience and ease of use. The additions will be featured on Switch 3 Scoring and are already available on the Switch 2 upgrade.

Next up is the Switch Bowl app. Available on iOS and Android, this new app allows bowlers to share their bowling experience via social media. Switch bowling centre operators will also be able to connect to anyone in their area who has downloaded the app and share upcoming events and promotions.

The new Switch Bowler’s Console was next to be revealed. The console comes in the form of a tablet and allows users to edit their bowler profiles and viewing statistics, order food and drinks, and place video calls.

Video masking units were next on the list. Instead of only having an image or design on the regular masking units, bowling centres can maximise the Switch units’ audio and video through the use of fully-automated silver screen technology.

Lastly was the new Switch Puzzle seating, a range of furniture that can be altered in shape to suit a variety of spaces.
