The General Assembly of the European Gaming and Amusement Federation, Euromat, held today in Amsterdam, Netherlands, has elected Eduardo Antoja to the organisation’s executive presidency position for the next two years.

Antoja was previously Euromat president from 1999 to 2008. Annette Kok, who replaced Antoja in the role in 2008, has resigned for personal reasons and was nominated honorary president.

John White, executive director of the British association BACTA was elected first vice president and Mirjana Acimovic, who heads the Serbian association Jakta, was elected treasurer.

At the same meeting, the General Assembly confirmed María José Gallardo as a member of the executive committee representing FACOMARE, and elected José Sánchez-Fayos for the presidency of Euromat’s Committee of Legal Affairs.
