At the ENADA Rome show last week, GeWeTe presented change solutions designed, it said, for each segment of the Italian gaming market.

The company’s VLT line-up of change machine solutions - the Cash-Recycler, Cash-Desk Professional and Cash-Center - have now been joined by the new Cash-Center-Compact.

The latter is fitted with a choice of banknote recyclers, a 15ins LCD display, thermal printer, barcode scanner and up to three additional banknote dispensers and three hoppers for coin payout.

The new Cash-Recycler-Compact, meanwhile, is aimed at the arcade market and is designed to enable coins to be entered in bulk. Another new machine on show in Rome was the Deposit Compact, an “intelligent” safe fitted with two banknote readers to allow the bulk note feed of up to 50 notes at one time. Coins can simply be tipped into the machine.

“We have been designing and manufacturing change machines for 22 years now. The market knows and trusts GeWeTe,” said managing director Aristidis Tsikouras. “Our ‘made in Germany’ technology is built to last. Furthermore, we have an Italian team here directly so our customers know they get local support in the local language here. That is our philosophy and we will be expanding our offices in Great Britain and Spain as well soon.

“More and more operators want security for their investment and are turning to GeWeTe. Our new products are also opening up opportunities in new markets as well.”
