The Germany-based Gauselmann Group was on Friday rumoured to have completed the purchase of another leading UK company, picking up BetCom, a highly successful software development company.

BetCom Ltd

The immediate conclusion is that the strengths of BetCom might for the first time bridge the gap between analogue and digital gaming in the Category C sector of the British market.

If it is all confirmed then Paul Gauselmann, the president of the German company who recently turned 80, showed that he has plenty of vigour to lead his team to pick up a prize catch to add to their expanding British interests.

Adp Gauselmann (UK) currently has the Blueprint group of companies, which includes manufacturing and game development for virtually all sectors, the top name in adult game centres operations, Praesepe, and a significant shareholding in major Category C operator Sceptre Leisure.

The purchase of BetCom would underline Gauselmann Group’s determination to support the UK market and expand its already considerable software development interests in Britain.

BetCom is a significant developer with a string of hit games to its credit, including one of the current top games Let’s Get Krackin’.

This acquisition would considerably expands Blueprint Machines UK’s ability to support both the existing analogue business and strengthens the drive into the digital arena for the UK pub market and across the AGC and bingo sectors.
