UK-based cash handling specialist Innovative Technology has updated its equipment to enable operators to process the new €10 note, which enters circulation next month.
The new note, which will begin circulating on September 23rd, was incorporated into the euro currency dataset files of Innovative Technology’s cash handling products in May.
“To ease the update process for customers across Europe we have released a new DA3 SMART Update Tool, allowing customers to update their validators to accept the €10 note that will enter circulation in September,” said customer support manager Andy Bassam. “With the use of a DA3 handheld programmer and a standard SD card all ITL validators can be quickly and simply updated to accept the new €10 note.”
The DA3 SMART Update Tool can be downloaded form the company’s website.
