The new 58,000sq.m centre in Pharr followed the opening of an FEC in Atlanta, Georgia, and is the second of seven centres the company is planning to open across the US over the next seven months.

Main Event’s Eat.Bowl.Play concept features bowling, multi-level laser tag, a gravity ropes adventure course, over 100 amusement games, billiard tables, bars and dining facilities.

“We’re expanding our fun destination footprint into Texas’ Rio Grande Valley for the first time,” said Charlie Keegan, CEO of Main Event Entertainment. “As we develop new centres across the country, we’re focused on creating quality entertainment experiences for the people and families within each community.”

Main Event is part of Ardent Leisure, the Australian leisure group.
