Czech video lottery terminals specialist Synot is targeting growth in Greece and Spain.

Synot machines

The company has announced plans to establish a new subsidiary in Spain, a market it suggested is moving towards server-based gaming systems.

Meanwhile, Synot also stated that it is prepared for the second round of Greek gambling group OPAP’s VLT tender. The process will see partners chosen to supply the market with 16,500 machines.

The results of the tender are expected to be announced towards the end of this month.

“Synot Group aims to complete the required task at its best and as quickly as possible. For this purpose, a team of experts across different professions has been assembled,” the company said.

Correction: In the article ‘Synot plans European expansion’ on July 18, we incorrectly stated that Synot is currently supplying server-based gaming systems to various Spanish provinces. Synot is opening a company in Spain but has not started supplying such equipment there.
