Getting near to the portion of Warehouse of Games’ booth where Apple Industries’ photo booths were being presented was easier said than done during the DEAL show.

Such was the demand to experience the US-based company’s products from visitors that the crowds around the booths didn’t subside until the doors were closing on the final day of the show.

“It’s just been phenomenal,” said CEO Allen Weisberg, who explained that the company’s Scene Machine, which enables users to take pictures of themselves with a host of backgrounds, including the Dubai skyline, and Pix Place, which utilises green-screen technology, were both inundated with users throughout the three-day show.

“Operators here really like the social media capabilities and the upsell features we are able to offer,” he said, adding that they recognise the benefits such technologies can have on their income.
