The need to stand out from the crowd has never been more important, as some of the leading suppliers of anchor attractions tell InterGame

Providing a single opportunity for customers to become completely immersed in an interactive or experiential environment that is like nothing else they have experienced before, enables locations to stand out and offer something exceptional to their customers.

As Triotech’s president and CEO Ernest Yale tells us, differentiation is very important when choosing an anchor attraction. It is the primary way that operators can delineate between a regular attraction that is incorporated in many locations and an exclusive, personal experience – one that is highly memorable and one that patrons seek out again and again, which results in higher footfall.

“Incorporating the attraction into the location is also very important,” he says. “It must be highly visible, easy to get to, be set up in an inviting manner, as well as create interest and curiosity. If a location can achieve that, they will create instant demand for their attraction.

“Operators are primarily concerned with capturing and increasing footfall and building revenue streams. Our products are adaptable and can be installed in any location with no major construction required. They provide unparalleled motion experiences that are centralised around our single or double seat motion actuator that provides up to 2Gs of acceleration, combined with 400 movements per second – it makes for a very thrilling and memorable ride.

“Our products are turnkey, low maintenance and require minimal staff to operate. By design, if there is a technical issue with one chair, only that chair is impacted and the rest remain functional, minimising downtime.”

Triotech’s XD Theatre gives the customer a totally unique 6D immersive experience that incorporates exhilarating motion, wind and light, creating an intense and very fun ride. The XD Dark Ride is a multi-sensory, interactive game that uses real-time 3D graphics, provides instant feedback and is highly responsive, with the world’s fastest targeting system. It has unique game play and fully immerses riders in the experience. A scoring system has also been designed that allows riders to play against each other and compete for best score, which provides operators with repeat business opportunities.
