InterGame hears from two suppliers on the benefits of good machine and cash management

Thanks to advances in technology, it is becoming increasingly easier to manage gaming and amusement locations remotely, to link machines and control the cash within them as well as managing prize stock levels. DR GAMING TECHNOLOGY

The systems side of the gaming market is key to operators around the world and the necessity of linking machines together is becoming even more important. In some instances there may well be a legal requirement to link gaming machines together for data purposes, but there are also benefits to the operators. Linking machines, according to DRGT, can empower the operator by allowing them to see the money going in and out of the machines as well as offering cashless and progressive jackpots.

MERKUR GAMING

German gaming giant Merkur Gaming presents the Merkur 100 banknote dispenser. A highly reliable note validator and payout device, suitable for the fast and efficient change and payout of all European currencies, it consists of a JCM note acceptor head, with a unique and patented rotary note vault area, which stores banknotes waiting to be paid out. The vault can be easily assigned priority banknote values or combinations for payouts. The dispenser can return up to 100 notes of three types.

If the maximum filling capacity of the vault is reached in any individual denomination, the banknote dispenser cleverly routes further banknotes to the JCM stacker. All banknotes whose denomination has not been selected for storage and repayment from the vault are likewise deposited in the stacker. The unit also has a cashier function that will automatically transfer all notes from the dispenser to the cashbox for easy reconciliation.
